Albert Einstein's secret to success - Imgur

One of the coolest and smartest men who ever lived was Albert Einstein.  Though, he wasn’t always thought of that way.  When he was 14 years old, his teacher caught him doodling on scraps of paper.  Einstein was told by his teacher that he was “incredibly stupid” and never amount to anything.  His parents thought he was retarded.  It could have ended there and the world may not have heard of Albert Einstein had it not been for his uncle.

You see, his uncle realized that Albert possessed certain interests in mathematics (not of the classical sense) and physics.  He told Albert to focus on those areas.  Well, at 21, Albert Einstein graduated from college and began to create his ideas in physics.  All he needed was just one person to believe in his special skills and talents.  His personal interests.

Each one of us, whether we are told so or not, possess something valuable to the world.  You just have to discover it and then unleash it.  You need help to uncover that specialness and it will take work.  You have to really want it.  And once you know what it is, then work and work and work to develop it.  It may be in science or business or sports or art…. Whatever it is, make it happen. Get help.

You may have been told that you were stupid.  So what!  Heck, I was evaluated as being a “moron” by a psychologist when I was 5.  Everyone through I was mentally retarded and my stuttering didn’t help my cause.  I was lucky.  My mother didn’t believe the psychologist or even my father.  My first karate sensei in Okinawa didn’t either.  Pop Warner football was also another outlet.  It took awhile, but I started to gain more confidence.  Sports, martial arts  and the Marines helped.

Today, I have fun speaking and expressing myself.  I found my special talent.  It is simply a combination of all I went through and what I love.  I not any better or any worse than other people and neither are you.  You are better and even the best at your personal talent and skills.  Find it and succeed with it.  Believe in yourself, your talent and take action.

Cheers,
